Sunday was a frustrating day trying to get released from the hospital. The transplant team was trying to do a handoff of my care to the oncologist and have him take a position on the heperin (blood thinner) treatment. After waiting most of the day Dr. Jalal released me with the home kit version of blood thinners with instructions to see the oncologist on Monday. So home again at about 4:00 pm Sunday ater spending the entirety of the weekend in the hospital.
We got no guidance on a new treatment strategy. This is new and will take some exploration.
