8/27 - Deja Vu

I received a call from MD Anderson saying that the radiologist reviewing my latest CT scans saw something that looked like a embolism on my lungs and thus recommended that I get checked into a hospital and get on blood thinners.   Does this sound familiar?   This happened a few weeks back when the BCM reviewed the CT scans that they had taken and Dr. Jalal ordered me to the hospital.   I talked my way out of a hospital stay this time by informing them that I have the home version kit for Heparin (Lovenox) and promising that I would resume my regiment until I saw the Dr. Kaleb on Monday, now at 10AM.   A close call avoiding yet another weekend in the hospital.  Yeah.  A win for me and the insured.
