The worst of news today – What we were alerted to be concerned of, an involvement of the lesion with the Inferior Vena Cava was the primary finding of the CT Abdomen Scan that was done Friday. We got a paper copy of the report prior to discussing this with Dr. Jalal who is one of the hepatologist on the transplant team. Dr. Jalal did make a visit and confirmed the result and the consequence. I AM NOT A CANDIDATE FOR A TRANSPLANT.
Now I am just a cancer patient with a cirrhotic liver. This significantly changes the equation and we are still struggling to come to terms with it. The treatment plan will certainly change.
Ray you are in my prayers and I have a strong prayer chain going for you. I pray for you to find strength and Gods grace to overcome this news. My love is with you and your family.

And how sweetly Jesus whispers: "Take the cross, thou needst not fear; for I've tried the way before thee, and the glory lingers near."
