After a month of being dragged through procedures and Hospital stays the biggest thing that ails me now is my lack of strength. I am no longer in surfing shape, but it's starting to get better and I feel stronger day by day.
We heard from MD Anderson today in that a nurse called to ask questions about my case. They indicated by their questioning that they would execute the full IV chemo treatment. The one thing they were focused on was the fact that my blood platelets are low enough that I would not tolerate the chemo treatments very well. I need some more blood. I think I'll go prowling tonight.
I'd give you some of mine, but they won't let me. I have too many allergies to too many medications; the Red Cross won't even consider my blood. Sorry!
