Well as time passes the injury of the hernia surgery becomes less and less an issue and I am left with where I started, weak and fatigued. The weight I gained on the cruise ship is all used up and I am now back to trying to load up the proteins and calories. It's hard because I am trying to eat for the five of us, my four tumors and me.
Anyway I did start getting more active yesterday, starting early by cleaning up the flower beds, then a short ride on the motorcycle and finally a walk around the block. Doesn't sound like much but it's enough to wear me out. I'll try to start some exercise today.
I'm curious how many readers I have as I don't get much feedback from the blog. It's easy to respond either by email or as an anonymous commenter on the message board. I try to answer all my email and I appreciate comments on the blog as well. I will try to post often with something of interest between the major events.
Hi Ray - I read all the time. Always hoping for good news ;)
ReplyDelete..ps - comments section acts weird sometimes. Sometimes I type a comment and then just quit out because it is so frustrating .....
ReplyDeleteHi, Ray. I read your blog every few days. Like Noel said, I too have had problems in the past posting comments, but I think it mostly had to do with the memory restrictions of my phone. Sorry to hear you're still tired & weak (that's a change, as you normally sound like Superman with all you get accomplished!), but I'm glad to hear you're beginning to get over your surgery. I'll ask Gayland to give you a call & you two can figure out a time when you & Jane can come over. Think we're beginning to get our new grill somewhat figured out. We can cook up some tasty proteins & you guys can join us for a swim. Take care.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Gayland & DeLaine
Ray,
ReplyDeleteI go to your blog pretty much daily to find out how you're doing when I don't have an opportunity to talk with you. Thanks for continuing to share your information with us.

Hi Ray,
ReplyDeleteI'm a friend of Jane's from Stephen Ministry and I try to keep up with your blog 3 or 4 times a week to know how you are doing and how to pray for you.

Hi Ray
ReplyDeletePrayers from Macedonia ( Europe ).
I follow your blog daily
Hey, Ray--sorry to hear you're still feeling so weak. But, remember, your body is still trying to heal, so it's really not too surprising.
ReplyDeleteI check your blog nearly every day, and comment when I read. Fred checks at least once a week, but doesn't comment.
And we continue to pray for you, and for your family.
Sue (Clark).
