Yesterday I got uup and was gasping for air in whatever position I was in. I had been scheduled for a Thoracentisis on Thursday but was having so much trouble that Janie called MD Anderson and got my procedure moved up to yesterday.
So we went in yesterday and they took 1.2 liters off my left lung cavity and now I feel much better. The IR dept is going to recommend a catheter implant so that I can drain the fluid from home. They were talking like we'll see you next week.
Janie also got my appointment with Kaseb moved up to Monday. Hopefully the IR department can consult with Kaseb before Monday and he can have a plan in place when I see him.
