As I posted earlier, Dr. Kaseb moved up my 9/26 appointment with him to address my new symptoms. So Yesterday I had bloodwork and a chest X-ray at 7:30am, met with Dr. Kaseb at 11am and then had an echo cardiogram of my heart at 1pm. The X-ray showed a buildup of fluid in my chest cavity which was impeding my breathing. So Sheree, Dr. Kasebs nurse worked to schedule another draining of fluid from my chest cavity before I left the hospital. Just as I was finished the echo cardiogram procedure they were calling me to Diagnostic Imaging for a thoracentisis.
The thoracentisis took about an hour after we got started and yielded 1.7 liters of fluid. I was able to breath easier right away.
Had a good night of sleep in a prone position so the buildup of water was again the issue.
This morning I got a call from Sheree who reported that the echo cardiogram was normal. Nothing wrong with my heart.
so relieved ray! I am so thankful you had a good night's sleep! I hope you and Jane have a nice meal tonight and maybe rent a movie and relax on the couch. You need the rest.
