It's been a holiday weekend and most of a work week since I reported last. This is the first time in a long time I have not been favoring some injury or surgery recovery and I am moving freely without pain and have energy to work on some home projects that have accumulated.
Dad and Mom came down for my Birthday (July 2nd now 56) and Mom is holding over until my doctors appointment on Monday the 11th. Dad will be back on for the Monday appointment as well. I am having scans and bloodwork tomorrow in prep for the Dr. Kaseb visit. I believe that he still wants to discuss starting the Avastin, however he did indicate that if I was stable and feeling good that he would recommend doing nothing. I'm voting for doing nothing. I will report on Monday.
Right now my energy level is getting better, I am not having trouble eating, I am not hurting anywhere, I am getting in some strength training, and hopefully I am adding weight. This will sound rude but the first thing I would like to grow is an ass. Everything is so hard to sit on for any period of time, especially seats with no padding like in restaurants.
Way to go, Ray!
ReplyDeleteWe're all looking forward to many more reports like this one.

Great news, Ray! It's wonderful to hear that you're doing well. We, too, will continue to pray, but especially for the visit on Monday.
ReplyDelete(could you carry a small pillow with you? they sell little pillows at JoAnn's Fabric, way in the back of the store--they're about 12x16 inches, quite soft, and washable. Best of all, some of them are even made in the USofA!! they run around $10.)
And the comment above was me, but I forgot to sign it. >_<
ReplyDeleteSue.
You do deserve to gloat. I've been praying for you; but the A part; well I can't ask God to give you a bigger one.
