Well this week I fought some of the continuing issues I have with my medications and I don't do well with the cold. Dr. Kaseb recommended I see a hepatologist to monitor my liver through all this. So I contacted Dr. Stribling who I had seen initially and now have an appt for Feb 28th.
I now favor about 80 degrees. Not only has it been cold but the blower fan went out in my truck so I spent a couple of days driving back and forth to work with no heat while I investigated how to get the fan fixed. In the midst of the cold weather I did make a discovery. We have two heaters in the house, one for the downstairs and one for the upstairs. Of course for obvious reasons the upstairs ares benefits from the downstairs heater. But in combination the upstairs gets quite toasty no matter how cold it is.
Today the sun is out, the temperature is 69 and it's safe for me to go outside. To bad we are promised another cold blast mid week this week. I'm ready for March or even summer.
Hey kiddo,
ReplyDeleteHang in there I know its rough; but I know that you can beat this. And with Jane there to nurture you, I can't imagine anything cozier. Just know that you two are in our prayers.
Hugs,
Karen
Ray, I didn't see this till today--it didn't show up yesterday. Anyway, I'm sorry to hear you're struggling so with staying warm. It doesn't seem possible that within two months we'll all be fussing because it's too hot outdoors!
ReplyDeleteWe continue to pray for you and your family.
Sue.
Sorry to hear that the cold weather has reached down into your area. We sure are getting tired of it up here. Looks like it coming around again tonight and Thursday. We should all head south.
ReplyDeleteTake care and wear extra socks.
