I calling this thing the Jabberwocky. Kind of reminds me of Alien when the creature is posed right in front of you and he opens his mouth to reveal an extended throat and teeth. The Jabberwocky sits right on top of you and shutters open and close to unleash it's sting.
The Jabberwock - Lewis Carroll
Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.
"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!"
He took his vorpal sword in hand:
Long time the manxome foe he sought --
So rested he by the Tumtum tree,
And stood awhile in thought.
And, as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came!
One, two! One, two! And through and through
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back.
"And, has thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!'
He chortled in his joy.
And with a snicker-snack I tame the Jabberwock. No nausea so far. Eating and gaining weight and strength.

You do find the bright spots in everything you do. Good to hear that you are gaining weight. Love y'all.
ReplyDeleteRay - you sound great lately! I am glad you are eating and getting that weight back on. And with that extra protein you are consuming, try working out with a couple of 20 pound dumb bells 4-5 times a week for 15 minutes or so. I bet you could bulk up a bit to get you through those last few treatments where you might begin to get a bit weary. But hopefully you will sail right through them with your peanuts and all :) thinking of you always!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you are gaining weight. Keep slaying the Jabberwock.
ReplyDelete"Oh frabjous day! Calloo Callay!"
ReplyDeleteand off went Ray to slay and slay!!!
Keep on keepin' on, Ray, we're all pulling (and praying) for you.
Sue.
